damn, that's a clean looking bilge. from what i can tell, your boat isn't waterlogged. metal parts corrode more when there's a high moisture content and your parts are sparkling. the stringers near...
Looks like you guys had the lake to yourselves. I was wondering, too, what A.C. meant. Got it now.
I think okie posted a while back about shining his trailer wheels up with aircraft stripper....
Unless you vented the compartments it's not going to work well. That's basically like listening to a car sub from outside the vehicle. The sound is trapped inside.
This....toilet bowl cleaner is a cheap option but Haugy is right about the stripe. You'll want to rinse the trailer well too. A brush on a long handle helps.
Compound isn't really what you want...
That's quite a fort. Looks stout, I like the hanging baskets.
Looks like grass between the planters? Mine's that way. I need to do something about that. Tired of weed eating it and getting grass...
if you have dripless then you'll have to loosen the collar on the shaft. prob 2 allen head set screws on either side of it.
are you going to add another battery? i think i upgraded to a 140, it's been awhile though and that's just from memory.
check with a local electrical shop. they might be able to beef yours up or...
cool...nearing the homestretch!
lookin good. i like that you left the floor open by the transom.
you're getting really close. once the glass work is done progress happens in big chunks.
i hate to say it but this isn't a terribly reliable site for storing pics. it's crashed before and lots of pics were lost when it was resurrected.
sorry, i have no idea but i'm watching. some of mine have been busted since i got her and i've just left them. of course, you have an interior that makes me want to put the boat cover back on. even...
the boat just wanted to pose for Mom...looks great. ya done real good buying that one!
i can't use the manage attachments feature so i don't think it's post count related. you can post pics if you do it manually. the code is pretty simple but you need the url of the pic. you'll have to...
looks fantastic!
how hard is the pinstripe on the hull? that's a long run to keep 'straight'.
the spider cracks are very common. personally, i'd glass the inside with some cloth and marinetex the outside. you can use the marinetex to bed the cloth. clean the inside area with acetone and do...
damn, you're gonna be the expert soon. i've done the damper plate but not a flywheel.
good luck!
that's pretty badass. i hope he's on ibu's now.
will we see pics in the may thread?
around here 87 is currently about $3.39 and diesel is $3.75
RNR dredged up an old thread. nice work, lol.
is diesel still worth it with higher initial cost and higher prices at the pump?
you put a fresh 5 gal of gas in, was the tank empty? do you have a water separator filter? running for 10 mins previously and then just dying is odd.
crossed plugs or timing being way off would do...
looking great...that's serious hole saw!
love the rolls of glass hanging on the wall. i had to use the deck on my house and often ended up with grass and crap in the glass...extra reinforcement,...
mani's been on here a decent bit before. been awhile though from what i remember.
i'm no carb expert. are you sure everything else is set correctly?....plugs wired right, good gas, timing
what's the history so far? have you gotten her running good at any point?
