I've tried that procedure - gotta have the sensitive fingers of a safecracker.

I could not "feel" the clicks using a small screw...

How did you go about tuning the amp?

Set-up in the manual helpfull?

this weekend I will be ripping out the boat amps and re-wiring.

Putting in an Exile Harpoon for 4 exile tower speakers and a JL M400/4 amp for 6 polk db speakers, and heavy guage wiring for power...

Already got it done, and yes - a torch was necessary! I used one meant for copper plumbing.

I then had to grind the solder smooth to get it into the distribution box.

Fits perfectly...

anybody tin 1/0 cable after stripping it, so it goes into a distribution block easily?
