I agree with Wylietunes add a third battery... I am running a total of 6 batteries in my 242 with 4 amps and have no problems...
But it would not hurt to start looking to maybe find a little...

I have a 2011 242 and built a ported box and mounted it right to the foot kick board.. I went to a shallow mount Rockford p3... I also added another 12 on the passenger side it kicks ass......

Nice boat congrats... I live North Raleigh Wake Forest... We ride alot at Falls Lake alot... Well have fun with the boat... Hope it get warm soon...

yea we mainly go to Falls Lake it is like 10mins from the house....

It could be a internal issue in the amp... Mine did the exact same thing.. it would sometime quit when playing it really hard and sometimes we could just be on a evening cruise playing it easy... It...

I had the same problem with my kicker amp... it is therminal protection... It is getting hot and kicking out instead of burnning up... how many speakers are on the amp... mine had 6 speakers and the...

I added Wet Sounds 6.5 100 rms in my stock cans... I had to machine the face off and do some drilling... It sound pretty good but I then switched it all out for REV10s....

Tower Speaker Problem Fixed..... This is what it should have came with instead of the junk it had.... Its all good.... It was a long hard project but I loved every minute......
