"Getting married so the boat has to go", ummmmmmmm, doesn't sound like the beginnings of a fruitful union. Sounds like someone who really likes his boat or boating and now he has to rid himself of it...

Just make sure to rotate them regularly, especially when they have a lot of tread depth. The tall blocks can start to wear unevenly and that's when they will get crazy noisy. I would do it every oil...
Sounds like you are on the right track. I really dig that you are in France and playing with a Supra, with a big block no less, very cool. I have friends in Denmark that have a bunch of American V8...
Looks great, the fit looks a lot like how the one on ours is. I can agree the glue residue is a pain. I replaced our pad as the original one started peeling off. I got a new one under warranty.
I like it, it makes the interior look roomier to me. The pattern kind of stretches the area to my eye. Really cool.
No and No and nothing.
Have to check our calendars and see if we can make that. Now that the lake has water again I can actually tie the boat up at my dad's place.
I would run a second battery for sure, you'll want the extra reserve for sitting and listening. Run an isolator to keep the aux battery from draining the starting battery. Easy as it can be.
Very Nice!!! Happy to see another Supra being taken care of. It's a shame to see one not so old so neglected. Have fun!!
Nice, still looking for the weather to get a bit better here. We're going to the lake next weekend, hopefully mother nature will allow some fun.
Oh yes, getting things dry here in the summer is challenging at best. Hanging things up does let them drip which helps a bit. :p But you are right, the lakes here are pretty darn nice.
Take an engine mount bolt out and see what it is screwed into. If you are nervous about removing the bolt then that may answer your question. I would also think that if you can get your head down in...
I have a couple just home dehumidifiers that came from the big box stores. I keep one in the boat and one in an enclosed car trailer as nothing traps moisture like an enclosed trailer. Nothing...
Completely awesome!
Tow home, put in the shop with cover on and the dehumidifier inside. It drains out of the bilge plug and out of the shop through a container with a drain hose. Drys the carpets and storage areas out...
Well that's certainly a lot more positive than I expected, pretty cool all. Yeah I was thinking about doing a paint scheme that would go with the '42. And the red is a lot better on it than the...
I agree, when I hooked up the new boat, the SEXY factor went way way way up!
Here you go!!! Oh wait, the title of this thread wasn't "Noisiest ugliest tow vehicles"????? Oops. That's a shame cause I'd be in the running for that. Good thing is it tows the little Supra like...
The Corps of Engineers manage Lanier with their magic divining rods. Someone should use the rods on them. My dad has had a place there since '73 and the stories of their mismanagement are almost...
Agreed, our 242 has the S-Bend and it is easy as it can be to lower or raise.
I could do a set for $500 and I'm thinking $200 to polish them, that takes a while for sure. I mentioned to my wife I was going to polish them and she said "Why, aren't they going to be underwater?"...
It's new stainless steel through hull pipes. I turned them down and out to knock down on the noise a bit while surfing. Not that it's terribly loud but if you spend enough time back there it can get...
I managed to get one of my projects done. This one was the most dire in my mind.

Here's our Shepherd, a rescue dog that was on her last day before the rescue folks got her out. She is just awesome, we were told she was 3 when we got her, went to the vet this year and came out...
The shape of the platform is the most important thing when it comes to it's effect on the wake. Check out the links for the new Supra's and see that they make the platform less square and therefore...
