    Default 1983 Supra Star

Never heard of a Supra Star. Looks like the Beast to me with a Chrysler in it.

He has the original title. I would like to see that. Very Interesting!

Yeah that's interesting, I wonder if that star on the side is stock or if it was painted on after market just because it's called the 'Star'?

If I rember right the Star is the BB closed bow version of the rider. From the factory they were normally red, looks like this one has been painted black.

I thought the closed bow was the Beast. There is a few of them on the forum. Never heard of a STAR though. Maybe one year model?? Star decal definitely looks aftermarket to me. I hope Supra wouldn't have put something that bad on the side of their boats. They had more class than that.

That star looks like a "Rockstar Energy Drink" logo sticker. People are putting those and the "Monster" logo's on everything these days.

Well guys I ended up getting this boat from that guy. The star is just vynal decal and yes it looks like a rockstar logo on the side of it and it is soon going to be taken off. I am not a fna of the star and like the black and white. The boat was red, they only painted the sides and not the bottom of the hull. It is still red on the bottom and black on the sides. It is in need of some some TLC and I planned on putting in some work. It is going to be a slow going project first I need to build the framing for the seats since the wood is rotten and want to make sure it has new framing. Interior needs to be replaced but I am going to slowly do that and come up with colors and designs. For now it is just going to get some vynal dye to charcoal grey to make it look better.

I am new to this site but I will be posting stuff up as I get some work done on it.

Thanks, I am planning on taking off the star tonight when I have some time to finally mess with it after work today. It needs to have the transmission flushed out so I planned on messing with that also tonight and if I get a little time before it gets too late I might try and and measure out the pieces so I can start stacking up materials for the seats to be rebuilt. I was thinking of moving the back bench seat forward and making another storage containers behind it for future fat sacs to go in there. So I planned on looking it over and measure the areas to see how much room I have to do any new working in the future.

The seats are still able to be used but I do want to start building the new seats so I can have those there ready to wrap with new vynal.
