Happy Birthday to me!! So I showed up to work this AM and found a BIG rectangular box (and a smaller one too) on my desk. My GF snuck-by after I left work yesterday and left it for me. I was pretty excited when I realized what it was.

I can't say it was a complete surprise. She knows how picky I am about my stuff. She wouldn't have bought me a board without figuring-out exactly what I wanted first.

It's a Ronix Vault 139, with the District bindings.

I can't wait to get on the water and try it out. It's a HUGE upgrade from the one I was using before, a faded old Hyperlite with bindings falling-apart. Last summer when I went to put it on, the nylon straps just fell-apart. My brother left it sitting in the sun...

I got the boat running, and ready to go. All I need now is for the water to rise-up to the ramp at the lake. It would be nice if the water warmed-up to, but I will ride either-way. I'm just guessing, but with all the snow melting into the lake, it's probably no more than 45-50*.

New 22 Launch to replace my '07 Mobius. Took delivery last weekend and as you can see the crew is stoked. Can't wait to get enough hours to begin pulling riders.
