Default Is this a good deal on a 2007 21V?

Hey everyone, I just joined the Forum... in hopes of becoming a Supra owner soon!

I've found a local deal here, and I want to get some input on whether it's a good deal or not.

2007 Launch 21V with the Indmar 325 Assault. Just under 300 hours. One owner, excellent condition. Trailer, cover, rack, bimini, rack speakers, etc.

    $38,995

    What do you think?

    Thanks!

Also had a compression test done, everything checked out nicely. Gravity ballast, etc.

I'm no expert on pricing newer boats like this, but this one seems to be a hair on the steep side. The only reference that I have for it is that my friend bought a 2006 Mastercraft X1 almost 3 years ago for $36k. Now, that boat WAS a good deal.... but.... this Supra seems to be priced at the high end of what you should expect to pay.

Boats that were sold 2 to 3 years ago are hard to compare as boats were being had at GREAT prices then.

With that being said, I agree with wotan, it's on the steep side, imo. However it can vary depending on location and market.

Thanks for the thoughts. I would not intend on paying this sticker price, that's for sure.

I'm thinking if I can get down into the $35K range, I would be a lot more comfortable.

The other boat I'm putting it up against as an option to buy is a 2005 Air Nautique SV211 with 625 hours on it. I think I could get into that one for around $31K.
