    Default vibration

I have a 91 Comp ts6m I recently purchased. It is in pretty good condition with 186 hours. I have never owned a direct drive boat before so maybe my question is kinda dumb, but here goes. This boat seems to have more vibration than I would have thought. I have always owned I/O's. I took a ride in my neighbors 89 ts6m prior to looking and testing this boat, but his does not seem to have as much vibration. The prop looks pretty good and the engine is down tight. Is this a normal condition or are there things I need to check. Is it possible the shaft is out of balance? It seems to be worse in tight turns and during deceleration. Any thoughts or idea would be appreciated. I really enjoy reading this board. I have learned a lot.

Check engine alignment and possibly the shaft bearings could be worn.

Engine could be down tight but not in alignment.

Bearings may be old and in need of replacement, alignment could also cause this as well.
