    Default 2003 supra steering

my 2003 supra we just got seems really hard to turn, just curious if these boats had power steering or not. is it normal for it to be that hard to turn or could there be something wrong with my power steering?

There is no power steering. Is it hard to turn when sitting still or on the trailer? Should be pretty easy when not moving. If not then your steering cable may need to be lubricated or replaced or something is binding up.

    Default steering

My 2004 22ssv is sloppy loose on the trailer and at slow speeds, but when turning under power out of sharp turns it gets very tight. I think its the nature of the beast.

The steering should be easy to turn, if it is tight on the trailer the cable is starting to seize or has a kink in the cable. If it gets tight under load the rudder box bushings/ rudder may be worn and causing it to bind. If you disconnect the steering cable off of the steering arm you will be able to feel how tight the rudder is and how tight the cable is.
