Default Will a Dripless Seal Fit in a 94 TS6M???

I'd like to install a PSS or Lansdrop shaft seal in my 94 TS6M. The manufacturer's drawings show the overall length is 7" or 7.5" (respectively). Looking at pics of my boat (its at the lakehouse) I don't think I have enough room to install the shaft seal and reconnect the shaft coupling. Has anyone else installed a dripless shaft seal in a similar model?

    Default OJ Seal ok?

Sure enough, the TS6M has only 7.5" of space. The Lansdrop or PSS seals will not work. OJ seals are only 6" long and they say the rubber hose can be shortened even more. OJ does not have as much information available as the other two. They do not use a bellows to keep the seal faces in contact. Instead, they claim that the preload is set by the manufacturer. Not seeing any diagrams or detail pictures I'm a little skeptical as to the quality of construction. What is everyone else's experience with OJ seals?
