Supra Pro Wakeboard Tour Announces 2026 Season Featuring the Return of Women's Pro Wakeboarding, New Formats, and an Expanded Media Focus

The Supra Pro Wakeboard Tour returns in 2026 with a refreshed vision focused on progression, athlete exposure, and expanded digital reach. Highlights include the return of women’s pro wakeboarding for the first time since 2013—with equal pay—alongside new media-driven event formats designed to grow global viewership.
Groveland, FL — The Supra Pro Wakeboard Tour (PWT), the premier professional wakeboarding series in the world for more than 30 years, today announced its 2026 season — a reimagined tour designed to elevate athletes, expand audience reach, and continue driving progression across wakeboarding and wakesurfing.
Since becoming the title sponsor and official towboat in 2015, Supra Boats has partnered with the Pro Wakeboard Tour with a clear mission: advance the sport, grow the industry, and create greater opportunities and visibility for competing athletes. The 2026 season builds on that commitment through an increased emphasis on storytelling, digital content, progressive riding and athlete exposure.
A major milestone for 2026 is the return of professional women’s wakeboarding to the PWT for the first time since 2013, marking an important step forward in supporting the full spectrum of professional talent within the sport. Thanks in large part to a multi-year partnership with Liquid Force, the pro women's podium will see equal pay to the pro men's, and throughout the season, the women's progressive riding, unique stories and competitive battles will be featured across all of the PWT's channels and beyond.
In a shift toward a modern, media-driven competition model, the 2026 PWT will feature three made-for-media events designed to maximize content creation and global viewership. Fans can follow all tour action, athlete stories, and event coverage through the PWT’s social media platforms and YouTube channels throughout the season.
All three stops will take place at the iconic Lake David in Groveland, Florida, a venue long known for delivering ideal riding conditions. Calm water and the world-class wakes and waves of the Supra SA 550 will allow athletes to perform at their highest level — producing better riding, more compelling competition, and more engaging content for fans worldwide. Along with Pro Men's and Women's Wakeboard divisions, each stop of the 2026 Supra PWT will also feature Pro Wakesurfing and Jr. Pro Wakeboard divisions.
The 2026 season will also feature different riding formats at each stop, giving athletes fresh opportunities to showcase creativity, versatility, and strategy while delivering a more dynamic and entertaining viewing experience.
