Jamie Lopina Makes History as 1st Female to land Heelside 720 in contest.
Melbourne, Australia – March 13, 2023 – The Moomba Masters Tournament, witnessed an incredible feat this year. Jamie Lopina, made history by becoming the first female to land a heel side 720 in a contest, cementing her place in wakeboarding history.
Lopina’s amazing achievement thrilled the crowds and showcased her incredible talent, as well as the hard work and dedication that goes into being a world-class athlete. She went on to take third place on the podium.
Sam Brown took second place in the contest, showing off his unique style and technique with an impressive Crow 7. Nic Rapa, meanwhile, took third place, demonstrating the fierce competition and level of talent at the Moomba Masters Tournament.
The Moomba Masters Tournament has a long and proud history of showcasing the best water skiers and wakeboarder from around the world. This year’s event was no exception, with athletes from all over the globe competing for the coveted top spots.
